I was asked to create an abridged document to present findings of Plainfield Public Library's Strategic Plan to the public.
I used Canva to produce a document that would be both informative and fun to read. I staged the library card in one of the library's Cherry Blossom trees to use as the cover image. Click on image for full document.

One of the most satisfying aspects of being Assistant Director was doing programs that would bring adults to the library. With the help of our Head of Local History and Circulation Manager, we started a craft club for adults! It is now a popular program that patrons look forward to attend.
A quick IG reel I made to highlight Plainfield Public Library's Children's Room.
I started a passive Summer Reading Program for adults at Plainfield Public Library. This video was made to promote it.

Bringing Banned Books Author George M. Johnson back to their hometown to speak at the Plainfield Public Library was a dream of mine and seeing it come to fruition was definitely the highlight of my career! It was an idea I had as soon as I returned to Plainfield and would not had been possible without the wonderful staff who helped with the planning and execution.
One of the last projects I got to complete at Elizabeth Public Library was the creation of STEAM bags to be used in-house.

At the launching of Elizabeth Public Library's 1000 Books Before Kindergarten.
In 2018, the Elizabeth Public Library received a donation of $80 in honor of Elizabeth's native Judy Blume. I decided to start a book club in her honor and named it Fudge Bunch.
Shelley Pearsall, author of The Seventh Most Important Thing graciously agreed to surprise my book club with a video call at the conclusion of one of our series. Seeing the children excited to meet the author of the book they had just finished reading was a magical moment I will not forget. You can see the author in the ipad I am holding. I was 7 months pregnant in this picture and the kids had to help me get up! lol
A video I created for our Teddy Bear Sleepover program using a stop motion app.
